My final thoughts

Whatever type of prostate disease you experience, it need not be an immediate death sentence. Every day new strides are being made in the detection and treatment of prostate ailments. And the folks at HopeForCancer.com are very serious about helping men.

More important than the prostate gland is the other organ that can control your prognosis. It’s the one that fills the space between your ears.

No matter how dark the day may appear, there is always another chance to experience a brighter day tomorrow.

Avoid too many idle hours.

Develop a positive mental attitude and outlook. Your mind is powerful medicine when used appropriately.

Fill your days with healthy food, happy people, good friends and family, and spiritual growth.

Look inside yourself and see that you are alive, well, whole and enjoying everything this world has to provide. You are more than a diseased prostate!

SEX AFTER PROSTATE DIAGNOSIS

There is no way to sugar coat it. If you are diagnosed with any form of prostate disease you will experience some type of erectile dysfunction, even if it is a surgical procedure using the nerve sparing technique.

Let me review some of the possibilities that are available to men AFTER being diagnosed with prostate disease who experience erectile dysfunction:

· There are now numerous erectile dysfunction drugs (EDDs) available. These drugs promote erections by increasing blood flow to the penis.

· There is a substance called Prostaglandin E1 that can produce erections. It is produced naturally and can be injected almost painlessly into the base of the penis before sex.

· A penile implant or prostheses can restore an ability to achieve an erection.

· There are vacuum devices that are designed especially to create an erection by placing around the entire penis before sex.

While erectile dysfunction will most likely begin immediately following surgery for prostate removal, if the technique of nerve sparing is used there is a possibility of recovery within a year of the procedure. If non-nerve sparing is used the recovery of erectile function is highly unlikely.

There are studies that report sparing nerves on both sides of a prostate have regained erectile function in 60 – 70% of men. Also, erectile dysfunction drugs appear to work for up to 43% of men whose prostate was removed surgically. This shows a promising trend.

There is some difference when radiation therapy is used. The man will also experience erectile dysfunction but it usually doesn’t happen until six months after beginning treatment. However, there is also good news here showing that as many as 50-60% of men regain erections with the use of EDDs.

When hormonal treatment is the route taken, erectile dysfunction will usually occur between two and four weeks after beginning treatment and is linked with decreasing sexual desire. Unfortunately the studies do not show the same results as the previous two treatments having little or no impact on erectile dysfunction. The good news, however, is that normal erectile function returns when the hormonal therapy is ended.

There are options besides conventional treatments. Here’s another herbal approach that I’ve heard second hand rave reviews on.

Prostate Cancer

I have posted blogs about breast cancer. And I think you have broad knowledge about that type of cancer. We all know that breast cancer occurs on women more often than men. In this new post, I am going to write about a cancer that only occurs in men. It is Prostate Cancer. Do you have any idea about this type of cancer? Well, it’s learn about it. This knowledge is not only for men but also for women, for them to be aware of their partner’s health.

The prostate is a gland found only in men. So it goes without saying that this type of cancer is exclusively found in men. The prostate is about the size of a walnut and shaped like doughnut. It is found just below the bladder in front of the rectum. It contains cells that make the seminal fluid that protects and nourishes the sperm during men’s ejaculation.

Prostate cancer occurs when the cells of the prostate begin to multiply abnormally. The cancer cells may spread painfully and rapidly from the prostate to other parts of the body especially to the bones. Most of the time, prostate cancer grows slowly. But sometimes it grows and spread quickly even with the latest treatment from the experts. This cancer develops mostly in men over the age of fifty.

Many men with this disease never undergo therapy and they survive naturally and without pain from this cancer. They use helpful internet sites that gave them ideas and information about this prostate cancer. These sites are about the alternative treatments for cancers like prostate cancer. So when you search the web, use the keyword “alternative treatment for ________” in this case, prostate cancer. The same is valuable to find information about other types of cancer (i.e., lung cancer, etc). These approaches are painless and beneficial for your health. There are alternative options to fight prostate cancer and live a new healthy life!

This blog explained briefly about prostate cancer. To find more about prostate cancer, look at this site ( click here )and be a cancer-free person. (a great alternative website!)

Do I Have Breast Cancer?

Breast Cancer can be detected through examining your breast more effective after or far before menstruation. There are many symptoms of breast cancer, and the first symptom of this is a lump on your breast. If you felt a lump on your breast, then do determine what it is! But don’t worry too much! Most breast lumps examined in clinics are benign, that means that these lumps are not cancers. It may be just crysts or sacs of fluid in the breast tissue which are common. Or Fibroadenoma, this is a collection of fibrous glandular tissue which is more common in younger women. And these lumps are obvious for women before their period particularly aging over 35.

Lumps could be cancer if they are thickened. You should be very concerned if the shape of your breast changed and your breast skin is orange-like. A change in the shape of your nipple, especially if it sinks into the breast and become irregular in shape is another symptom of breast cancer. And also, if there is discharging of blood-stains from your nipple, rash on your nipple or around it and a swelling or lump in your armpit are symptoms of having breast cancer.

But, these could possibly be not cancer. These could mean other things and normal for your breast. Regardless, you must go and have it checked by experts. It is best if you can have it checked early and have time to treat it.

What now if you have breast cancer? Are you going toimmediately undergo chemotherapy or surgery? Ouch..!! That hurts! Why not consult a physician who believes in alternative treatment for breast cancer? Many cancer-victims survived from cancer using alternative medicines. This is far less detrimental to your body.

Be informed about cancer. You might have cancer, and you are not aware of it.

Ten Step Plan To Fight Against Cancer

Dr. Lorraine Day was a well-known author of the book about AIDs and recognized as an expert in AIDs. Also, she is an orthodox medical doctor; in fact, she is the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery and also the Vice Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics. At first, she kept on telling her patients that their nutrition has no relation with their health, and there she proved herself wrong. As she start coming to the Cancer Control Society, she began talking about cancer and dealing with alternative doctors. And about that time, she discovered that she had breast cancer. Her first doctor refused to take care of her unless she would undergo chemotherapy. But she just wanted the lump to be removed and not have chemotherapy. Her doctor abandoned her so she went to her former colleague, who is a breast cancer surgeon. He took the lump in Dr Day’s breast but there are still cancer cells around her breast. The surgeon told her that her breast must be removed. Then again she refused. The surgeon said that she must undergo some other kind of treatment to destroy the cancer cells. But Dr. Day didn’t want to have any of those treatments. Then she just went home and called up her friend who has recovered from breast cancer. Her friend suggested that she’ll try the Gerson Therapy, and that was the beginning of her recovery from cancer. And she proved that she’s not scared of cancer.

In order to avoid cancer, Dr. Day created her diet centered program because she believes that we can fight cancer through building up our immune system. This can be done through a well-balanced diet. She also said that we can cure disease in a natural way and we do not have to undergo such traumatic and painful surgeries. All we have to do is to eat the right and healthy foods.

To summarize her method of fighting cancer Dr Day developed the “Ten Steps to Fight Cancer”. These 10 steps are great guidelines for healthy living, and with proper supplementation, provide a solid foundation. The following are the ten steps to fight cancer.

  1. Proper Nutrition. This explains what the patient should and should not eat.
  2. Exercise. We must do exercise which we could enjoy.
  3. Drink Water. Our body needs water to transport nutrients to healthy cells and to excrete toxins.
  4. Sunlight Exposure. We need sunlight in order to boost our immune system.
  5. Temperance. We should avoid our unhealthy habits.
  6. Fresh Air. We need a fresh air environment because cancer grows faster when a person breathes uncirculated indoor air.
  7. Proper Rest at Proper Time. We have to rest at a proper time. This is to make our immune system stronger.
  8. Stress Relief. We have to be relaxed especially after our stressful work.
  9. Attitude of Gratitude. We must think positive and be happy in order to be healed effectively.
  10. Spiritual Benevolence. We have to know what is good not only to ourselves but also to others.

Breast Cancer

Cancers occur when abnormal cells grow in an uncontrolled way. Breast cancers mostly occur in women but a few do occur in men. Cancer usually begins as a small lump in a breast and then grows, either slowly or quickly. And it could spread to other parts of the body. Early detection or treatment for this cancer is the keys for survival.

Breast cancer is the feared most illness of women. It is second only to lung cancer as a cause of cancer deaths in American women. Breast cancer also occurs in men, it affects more than 1,000 men in America each year. Although this cancer mainly impacts women, much of the information about breast cancer applies to men as well. I find it very interesting that physicians do not recommend routine screening for men.

There are factor risks in having breast cancer. As your risk factor is higher, the odds that a person could possibly get breast cancer obviously go up. The greatest risk for breast cancer is gender, because as we all know, breast cancer mostly occurs in women. But it appears to run in families as well!

Breast cancer is not just a single form of simple disease, but a general term used for the number of different types of cancers that occur in the breast.

Research has made some progress against breast cancer. There are better treatments, lower chance of death from the disease, and improved quality of life. Scientists are learning more about what causes breast cancer and exploring new ways to prevent, detect and cure this disease. But the Race for the Cure is definitely not over!

And there are many websites point to information about this disease and treatments. There are effective and harmless ways to fight this cancer; it is to use alternative medicines rather than having surgery and chemotherapy. Before you do these conventional treatments, why not try to have a painless and natural way of curing this disease?

Are you suffering from breast cancer? These folks are seeing awesome results using natural vitamins and supplements.
